Exciting Adventures at Our Spectacular Playroom
FUNLAND playroom invites children into a world of imagination, movement, and fun. Spanning approximately 400 sqm and inspired by Jerusalem landscapes and stories, the space includes a variety of play, climbing, creative, and discovery zones suited to a wide range of ages. Throughout the summer months, the playroom will host special activities, a magic show, and other experiences, giving children hours of enjoyment while parents enjoy a relaxing vacation.

Join an engaging literary gathering with Elad Weingrod — author, screenwriter, and songwriter. The session combines storytelling, conversation with the children, and interactive activities that invite participants to take an active part in a world of imagination and creativity.

Chef for a Day: Chocolate Workshop
The hotel Chef invites our youngest guests to an especially sweet experience. During the workshop, your children will discover the world of chocolate, work with premium ingredients, and create their own sweet treat to take home or enjoy on the spot.
Family Yoga Workshop
An experience of movement, breath, and connection for children and parents alike. This shared yoga workshop invites you to rediscover your body, calmness, and the connection between them, through light, enjoyable exercises set to music. The workshop is led by Einat Zafransky, a certified children’s yoga instructor.

Aqua Gym Classes
The AKASHA health, fitness, and spa center at The David Citadel Hotel invites you to keep up your fitness routine even while on vacation. Come train in our fully equipped gym with our professional and friendly team of instructors, and join one of our varied studio classes. And of course — dip or swim in our beautiful pool, under the open sky and the caress of the Mediterranean sun.

The lights go down, the screen lights up and the magic begins. As summer draws to a close, we invite our youngest guests to special movie nights in the Mamilla Hotel auditorium, featuring beloved Disney films for the whole family. Guests of The David Citadel Hotel are warmly invited to join this magical family experience, filled with moments of imagination, laughter, and excitement.

Jazz Evenings at Veranda Restaurant
As the sun sets behind the Old City Walls, the Veranda Restaurant terrace swings with the live sounds of saxophone and a uniquely Jerusalem atmosphere.
Under the open sky, alongside a rooftop grill, prime meat cuts, fine wines, and carefully crafted cocktails, an elegant evening awaits, combining music, flavor, and breathtaking views.

The Lobby Lounge Restaurant
The Lobby Restaurant at The David Citadel Hotel is the ideal place for dining in a relaxed atmosphere throughout the day. The restaurant offers a rich dairy menu for individuals or groups, including a selection of fish, pasta, salads, and sandwiches. Like the hotel’s lobby as a whole, the restaurant faces the Old City Walls and is bathed in natural sunlight streaming through the striking, one-of-a-kind glass ceiling.

The Grill Bar Restaurant is located right next to The David Citadel Hotel’s beautiful pool. It offers excellent grilled dishes, light snacks, refreshing and alcoholic beverages, and a dessert menu, all set against the magical views of Jerusalem in a family-friendly atmosphere.
Special Shabbat Tours
The Tower of David Jerusalem Museum is located at one of the most important historic sites in Israel — David’s Citadel.
The museum tells the story of Jerusalem throughout history in an engaging, innovative, and fascinating way. It features a new permanent exhibition, housed in the citadel’s original guard rooms, inviting visitors on a journey to the center of the world, following the city held sacred by three monotheistic faiths: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The exhibition spans 10 galleries combining cutting-edge technology, interactive displays, archaeological finds, and ancient artifacts. You are welcome to join a guided tour led by a museum guide.
